What program is offered on Athletes for Life?


The program offered on Athletes for Life is designed for athletes transitioning from their athletic career to a new chapter in life.The program is built around a proven process of daily conditioning and accountability, proactively guiding participants through four necessary phases, which will make the difference in taking your next chapter to the next level.




Who created and what is Athletes For Life?


Athletes for Life is an Australian organisation created by former professional athletes and wellbeing experts. It is dedicated to supporting professional athletes in any stage of their career and all individuals who combat the challenges faced when transitioning from sport and their athletic identity.




Is there an incentive for completing the Athletes For Life?


The incentive to complete the program is what you will gain personally through the process. You will develop and reinforce positive habits and gain an awareness of the beliefs, habits, and patterns that are currently preventing you from expanding into a new identity and making the most of your next chapter. You will also design the specific new beliefs, habits, and patterns that will lead to maximising your fullest potential again and again. You will learn simple and effective tools to help you harness the power of your internal world as you make your mark on the outer world. You will learn communication and influence tools, and the psychology behind those tools to uplevel your life.




What does successful completion mean?


Successful completion of the program means you’ve accomplished two aspects required for building new habits: commitment and consistency. First, you’ve completed your daily program content at least 80% on-time or better starting from the day the program begins to the day it ends (the extended access and grace period does not count for this). Second, you’ve completed 100% of the program content.




How does the daily completion score work?


Each day you will complete and save your activities until it shows 100% complete on the screen.




How long does it take to complete the daily entries?


You will spend an average of fifteen to thirty minutes watching short coaching videos and completing tasks that guide you to focus on, write about, and take action toward your goals. You may find that you want to spend more time on the material, which is great.




What do I need to be able to complete this program?


You need access to the internet through a smartphone, tablet, or computer for the length of the program. You need a valid email account that you can access. You’ll be asked to confirm your email address.




How do I purchase an Athletes for Life program?


Go to www.athletesforlife.com.au and click on “Programs” at the top. Find the program that interests you, click the “Contact Us” or "Register Now" button and complete the information to purchase the program. You may use Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover. Follow the instructions to confirm your email. You will be asked to select your start date. You will see the next ten days available for program start dates. Daily programs start 365 days of the year.




How do I access my program each day?


Go to www.athletesforlife.com.au Enter your login and password. Click the “Sign In” button, enter your email and password. Then click your name, then select the program in this Dashboard page.




Is my payment refundable?


No, the payment for the program is a registration fee and is not refundable.




Can I share the same program login with my friend, teammate, partner, or spouse?


The Athletes for Life program is designed for individual participation. Please do not share your login with others. Your account is private and secure, and your program entries are designed for your own personal growth journey.




What if I'm going on vacation during the program duration or I won't have an adequate Internet connection?


If you already started a program, you have access to the program content for at least 30 days after the program ends. So if you miss days, you have at those extra 30 days after your program ends to complete the days you missed. You have up to 6 days from your original start date to restart your program. To do so, in your Dashboard, click the 3 vertical dots to the right and selection Program Registration. From there you will be able to select a new date. If you have a specific circumstance or question about this, please submit a support ticket.




What if I do not see a start date that works for me?


Each day, the following ten days will be listed as an option for you to register. If you want to start the program ten days out, return back to the site to register when you are within ten days from being ready to begin. Please send a support ticket if you don’t see an available date or want to arrange a team to start a program together.




What if I purchased the program, and didn’t start yet, and realise I need to start on a different day?


If the program has not started yet (before Day One), and you decide you want to move your start date, log in, view your Dashboard, and click on the respective program. Click the 3 vertical dots to the right and selection Program Registration. From there you will be able to select a new date. If you have a specific circumstance or question about this, please submit a support ticket.




What if I started the program and realise I need to start on a different day?


You have up to 6 days from your original start date to restart your program. To do so, in your Dashboard, click the 3 vertical dots to the right and selection Program Registration. From there you will be able to select a new date. If you have a specific circumstance or question about this, please submit a support ticket.




Can I take an Athletes for Life program more than once?


Yes, you can! Go back to www.athletesforlife.com.au and purchase the Athletes for Life program. Taking a program consistently will support you in reaching your next level performance goals.




How soon after the program ends can I purchase or start the same Athletes for Life program?


You can start the same Athletes for Life program the day after the current program ends.




How do I get support from the Athletes for Life Team?


For General questions around Athletes for Life: If you have not yet registered for Athletes for Life, you can select Contact Us at https://www.athletesforlife.com.au/contact and send us an email. Someone from the Athletes for Life Support Team will respond within 24 hours of the ticket being submitted. When you receive a response to a support request, you will receive an email with the response and a direct link to take you to that support ticket. For Next Chapter program questions: Log in, go to the top right of your screen and click the "headset icon" as a shortcut to your support ticket page. Click Create a New Ticket. Someone from the Athletes for Life Team will respond within 24 hours of the ticket being submitted.




How do I complete my daily entries?


Each day you enter the program, you will open up to the current day regardless of whether you have completed the previous days or entries. Complete all questions in Today’s Activity, and click “Save”. If there are text boxes that are not optional, the points will not save until an entry is made. If there is a drop down selection, the points will not save until one answer is selected. If there is a ranking scale, the points will not save until one point is selected. Once all assignments and questions are done, and you’ve clicked the “Save” button at the bottom of each section, look to the right notifying you that you have completed 100% of the daily assignments. Make sure to complete all questions and tasks. Please note: You will have the option to go back to certain days and edit your answers. If you choose to do so, please save your work on the current day before leaving the page or your unsaved answers will be lost.




How do I see which days I have not yet completed?


In the top menu bar inside the program, click on the Scoreboard. It will show you completed and on time status. You can also navigate to any day by clicking the day number from this section.




What emails will I receive?


You will receive daily reminder emails while in the program. At the bottom of each email, there is a link to enter directly into the program. If you have not completed your entries two hours before midnight in your selected time zone, you will receive a reminder to complete your activities. You can also sign up for text message reminders. When inside your program, click the 3 vertical dots to the right. Select Program Settings to select if you want to receive the daily reminder emails.




How do I submit a testimonial for a program?


Once you complete the program, there will be a testimonial question at the end of the program where you can share.




Can I move ahead in the program to future days?


No. The programs are designed around daily commitment and consistency in order to build new habits. Moving ahead does not support the process.




If I miss multiple days, am I able to complete them at the same time?


Yes. However, the program is designed around daily commitment and consistency in order to build new habits, versus playing the catch-up game. Do the best you can to stay current.




How do I navigate to different days in the program?


Once you are logged into the program, look at the top right side of the screen and click “Select Day”. Select the day from the drop down menu.




Is there a place to find everything I have entered into the program?


You can find your daily entries by clicking on each respective day. Certain entries are bookmarked by the program and are available in the My Journal Entries link in the program navigation.




Will I have access to the program after the program ends?


If you have completed 100% of all assignments, the program will close automatically after the official last day of the program. If you have not completed 100% of assignments, the program will remain open for at least 30 days afterward to allow you to complete the program. Once all assignments are completed, the program will automatically close. Once the program is closed, you will continue to have access to your “My Journal” entries.




What if I’m not getting any emails?


Please check your junk/spam folder and spam settings. To ensure you continue receiving our emails, please add our automated system's "From" address (nextchapter@athletesforlife.com) to your address book or trusted sender list. Other considerations for not receiving our emails: It’s possible you entered your email incorrectly Please send us a support ticket so we can assist. You may have forgotten that you used a different or secondary email address when creating your account. Check all your email accounts to be sure.




What if I’m unable to remember my username/login?


Your username is the email address you originally used to set up your account. Please verify the email address you used to create your Next Chapter: Athletes for Life account. If you don’t remember what email was used to set up your account, go to athletesforlife.com.au , click Contact Us. Please fill out the form fields and in the subject line, please write “Please send me my email/username for Next Chapter program” and submit the form.




What if I forgot my password?


Click the “Forgot Password?” link on the login screen. You will be asked to enter your email and follow the steps to reset your password. If you don’t receive an email with the password reset link, please check your junk/spam folder. If you have not received the email, please verify the email address you used to create your Next Chapter: Athletes for Life account, which is your username.




How do I rewatch videos?


Navigate to the “Videos” tab from the menu at the top of the screen. All unlocked videos from the current and previous days can be found here for replay.




The video keeps pausing. What do I do?


Make sure to let videos load at least halfway before starting. If you continue to have issues, make sure your internet connection is strong. You also have the option of choosing a lower video quality for faster loading speed. To do this, click the gear icon in the bottom right of the video, then select the lowest number i.e. 360p.




How do I sign up for text message reminders to complete my assignments every day?


When inside your program, click the 3 vertical dots to the right. Select Program Settings to select if you want to receive the daily reminder emails. If you did not enter your phone number in your Profile, go back to View Your Profile and enter your phone number. Once you have done that, return to Program Settings, click “yes” to receive text reminders.




How do I change the time zone to match my current location?


Enter the program and click your name in the upper right corner. Click View Profile from the dropdown and select your time zone. This allows you to complete the program in the 24 hours that match your current time zone location.




Is there an app for this program?


There currently is no app. The program is mobile responsive and designed to work effectively on all smartphones and tablets.
